Remarks

Synced and upfront. Well-coordinated and experienced.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum and the manner in which the teachers teach is appropriate and mindful - be it theory or practical. The course structure has the right mix of both to enable clarity and understanding. It has helped me learn and understand a patient clinically as well as confidently manage the medical condition.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is no placement of internship via the college and ir depends on how much marks we score. I have done my internship from KIMS College, Bangalore.

College Events

4.5

All festivals, but most important was the inter college sports competition and the inter college cultural competition that used to take place every year. Not only Mangalore, but even colleges from Mysore, etc used to participate in these competitions and we used to look forward to this every time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very much feasible. Also, it had to be paid year by year and not all at a time. Be it the hostel or college fees, there was a liberty to choose how we want to pay the fees. Hostel fees could even be paid monthly. And college fees either half yearly or once a year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

No scholarship or education loan. My parents managed the payment for the entire course. And as it was on a yearly basis, there wasn't any issue.

Campus Life

4.5

Memorable. All the parameters asked here were fulfilled there. Just because we were a medical college didn't mean we only studied. We were encouraged to participate in all the sports competitions as well as cultural activities right from the beginning. No gender bias, lab experience was wonderful, no politics at all.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes. I lived in the girls hostel provided by the college in twin sharing. The hostel was really nice and the food also very good. I would say the hostel was one of the best considering the other hostels in the city.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes.They have always been helpful. In fact even during my course there, they were always supportive of helping me to understand concepts, help me in my case studies and college projects, teach me whenever required. in fact, we shared hostel with seniors so it was wonderful to have them as well as peers.

Admission

I was always keen on learning para-medicine. The ambiance and the upfront nature of the management made be join this college. There was enquirer made on my interest to join this particular course and my knowledge in science and languages was tested at random. I had to submit all my passing certificates along with the entrance exam results after which i was granted an admission in this college.

Faculty

4

All the lecturers were in between the age of 25 to 40. Everyone excelled in their particular subject. They had lot of patience to help us learn the subject at our own pace and took pains to clear our concepts as well. Even the on ground training at the hospital is a cherish able experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects and syllabus are a bit tough. It is difficult to pass the final exam . The college needs to improve their Internal exam system, which is three exams per year and a Final University exam in the end .

The college concentrates on education and activities for students. They need to mold their students and entertain them with extracurricular activities only then they can face the real world which is full of competition.

Remarks:

College management is the worst I have seen in my life. I have studies at prestigious school and college and trust me, Oxford is the last place you want to go. But, if you are already there or have no option, don't worry about that, but work a lot more harder. Colleges hardly make difference , its your hard work, perseverance and thoughts that do.
