Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. Those students who are interested in medical field and rehabilitation can opt for this course. Slightly more Improvement is needed in the way the practicals sessions are being taught.
Internships Opportunities
College Internship period is about 6 months. Interns are not allowed to stay in college hostel. They have various clinical and hospital postings. Stipend in not provided for the interns. The posting places are good.
Fees and Financial Aid
During the first year, we were required to pay around 2 lakhs which included fee for University application. During the second, third and fourth year, we had to pay 157000. But it varies in each upcoming batch.
Campus Life
First comes the freshers party which the second years conduct to welcome freshers. Then comes the graduation day of interns, various conferences, farewell party to the interns, annual day celebration, onam celebration and annual sports day.
Hostel Facilities
Girls hostel room has 4 beds. There are 5 floors in the hostel building. All the hostelers are compulsorily required to be inside hostel at sharp 6:30pm which makes it kind of difficult and restricted. Students are required to take the permission from their respective class coordinator and principal of they need to go home. The hostel menu is average.
Admission
The college is located near the heart of city. Clinical postings starts from 3rd year. The disadvantage is in the posting places as only few good places are provided and rest of the postings is in PHC where the students have to take surveys.
Faculty
The faculties are good but can be more friendly with the students so the students can be more comfortable and approach them. Exams are year-based and the college provides good internal marks to students.
Night Life
There are various hangout spots, malls, cafes and gym located near the campus. Night life is restricted for hostel staying students as they are supposed to be in hostel at sharp 6:30pm. Famous mall include city centre located around 1.5km near the campus.
