Courses are divided into 4 professional years. Three professionl years are of 1 year duration each and mainly discuss regarding basic science, pre clinical, paraclinical and diagnostic courses. First year comprises of basic veterinar sciences Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry. In second year the Animal Science courses like Animal nutrition. Animal breeding & genetics, Pathology, Microbiology. In third year Pharmacology, Public health, Product technology, Parasitology and Extension. The fourth profession year is of 1.5 year and comprises of clinical subjects like surgery, medicine, radiology, gynecology & obstetrics. Curriculum is totally need based and periodically modified by VCI. Curriculum not only fulfilled govt requirements and makes good doctors also fulfilled the industry requirements by providing technical manpowers. Veterinary graduates are posted as Assistant Surgeon, Veterinary Officers in govt hospitals besides this after their PG degree they may be opt for Scientists, Assistant Professors, Extension specialist etc. They may also join bank as Livestock officer/ Agriculture officer. In industry the Feed industry, Poultry idustry, Pharma, Dairy, Meat processing, Private hospitals, Daignostic centres, Wild life institutes, laboratory animal centres, Semen processing centrs are main recruiters of Veterinary graduates. So a lot of job opportunities are their for Veterinary graduates. NGOs working for rural and animal sector also come for placements. Kemins, NDDB, intas pharma, vetcare, skylark hatchries, phoneix poultry, kargil feeds, Amul, Nestle, Kapila pashu ahar are the major recruiters. Army also selected Veterinary graduates for SSC as officer. During degree course industry visit is also organised specially Milk & Meat processing plants, slaughter houses, zoos, wildlife safari, feed processing industry and educational tour for different veterinary colleges of india and major research institutes. Graduates are trained not only for treatment as well as for ration formulation, disease diagnosis, pathology, food safety and public health also.

Companies send ther requirement to the college and as per their need the students send their biodata and appear in written test/ personal inerview/ group discussion for ther selection. This is the procedure of campus placement. Our college having placement cell and group of faculty members interacts with industry people regarding the recruitment of our students as per there need. Our student is well trained for their different courses so no need to take special step for their recruitment as our graduates are very less in numer and requirement is very high so job is no problem for our graduates. 60 % students take their offer of placement while 40 % prefer for higher studies (PG & PhD). As for research and teaching higher study is must. After PG students are having specialised degree and he may choose his carear accordingly. Like nutritionist, patologist, biochemist, microbioogist, poultry expert, extension expert, radiologist, surgeon etc. Different research agencies select our students for their R&D group like Kemins feed, Phoneix poultry, ICAR, ICMR, CSIR, DBT, DST, DRDO, ITBP, SSB, NESTLE, NDDB, AMUL etc. Different Private universities and college also offer teching jobes in their institutes.

This makes student campus life very cheerful and their bonds stronger with their juniors/seniors. Cultural events also occur annually first at college level then at university levels this increses the extra curricular performance of students. This include dancing, singing, folk, skit, quiz, essay writing, painting, clay modelling, college making, mono acting etc.Then annual sports meet is also organised at college and university level both. All the students participate in athletics, badminton, table tannis, carom, chess, bollyboll, cricket, kabaddi etc games. These celebrations are enojed by all the students. Foundation day of college is also celebrated by all the faculty members and students of each year annually. cultural evening followed by mega dinner is enojyed by every one. One day workshop is organised by college this day. Word veterinary day is celebratd annually by college. Free vaccination and treatment camp is organised by college to aware the livestock owners and farmers. Pharma companies help college to organise these events.They conduct small workshop and provide scholarships and prize to our meritorius students and also exhibit about their medicines of different diseases. World environment day is celebrated annually on 5th june by faculty members to aware the health of ecology to public and our students. A large number of plantation drive is run by our faculty members to aware the importance of trees. We are trying hard to reduce pollutions and inhibit methane production by animals.

50000 per year for BVSc&AH Degree courses, very feasible. fees can be paid online or through cheque. No additional fee have to paid once you got in merit of entrance exam. There is transparency in fee-breakdown. It is govt college so fee is not a problem. only one should have able to qualify the entrance. Fee is very much affordable. College mainly takes tution fee all other fee is negligible. Hostel and mess fee including elecricity is very nominal. Library fee is very less. only the fee for NRI student is high 6000 dollar. For all other students it is 50000 per annum only. the students of weaker section on the basis of caste avail scholarship. they got their entire fee refund. the students of minority also got some relaxation in the form of scholarship. Some private firms also provide scholarship to students like SJ Jindaltrust, Tata, intas pharma etc. So fees is very feasible and not a problem for deserving and meritorious young energetic minds. Fee is mainly submitted by online mode or by bank to aviod any fradulent activity. Scholarship is also provided in students bank account directly. so everything isvery transparent and clear. Students have not to deposite any thing exra than actual fees. Here emphasis is for making bright doctors for tomorrow. Whole college is working hard to secure future of our students and name of our college and students is also doing really good in field to retain their names. and that is the reason to get 100% job by students.

Scholarship and education loans are available with some conditions. Scholarship are avialablle for SC, ST and OBC candidate based on their caste certificate and state domicile. For general category students few merit based scholarships are avialable. VCI provides NTS scholarship for students admitted through all india competition NEET conducted by NTA. For education loan one can apply for any nationalised bank by tagging recepit of fee including hostel fee. It is easily available. So money is not a problem once student get through the tough entrance exam to qualify the veterinary course and may fulfill their dream to be veterinary doctor.

Campus life is very beautiful. Students enjoy their company in hostels. Faculty quarters are also near to the hostel. they make very family bond with their teacher. They enjoy festivals with their teacher specially holi, diwali etc. Gender ratio is around 50:50. Nowadays girls are joining in very large number for veterinary course and they are doing really good for the profession. students are from very diversified groups representing all over india. in mp from every districts then from all over india forvremaining 15% seats and some NRI students also take admission so very nice and diversified group of students. Represent all the category and religion. So typical example of unity in diversity. very healthy and learning atmosphere. Students make their very memorable and important partbof their journey in campus. extracurricular events are enjoyed by students in campus like NCC, NSS, Horse riding type activities. All the labs are fully functional and open for student to learn including computer lab. Internet facility is avialable which helps student to complete their assignments, projects and internship reports. Photocopy machine is avialable for making xerox. Sports facilites are avialable to put themselves healthy and fit. Sports teacher is also apointed to help the students for sport and yoga session. Library facilities is avilable for students to study hard. News papers besides books also provided to students to read regularly. Debate competition is regularly organised for students. Topics choosen are from current scenerio, science, politics every thing which makes students versatile thinker and representer of their profession. yes. Hostels are very nice and very cheap. only 24000 per year. very nomial fees besides this 2000 per month mess charges.500 rs per month electricity charges. Rooms are very spacious and having bed, almirah, chair and tables. Rooms are on sharing bases. hostel atmosphere is very good and makes student independent, helpful and make strong bonding between them. water facilitites is very nice water cooler along with RO is provided. Food is of very nice quality, provides breakfast, dinner and lunch with tea. Food is nutritious and tasty. Sunday special diet is provided in lunch. Laundry facility is provided on paid basis. common room is equiped with TV and fans. Gym facility is their in hostel. Table tennis, carrom, chess etc provided in hostel to play. Badminton court is also their to practice. Fans are avilable in every room. Boys and girls hostels are separate. Security gaurd is there to security. Atmosphere is good for study, recreation and safe. One medical doctor is appointed for any emergency requirement. Kitchen facility can be used by student if any thing extra want to eat. food can be served in room if desired. Proper neat and clean wash rooms are avialable. the workers are their for regular cleaning of hostel premises. Window is covered by net, mosquito repellents are provided. Water supply is 24 hour available. Hostel warden regular visits to hostel to look after the students and solve their problem. Anti ragging squad is their to aware the students regarding any negative activity and helps student to enjoy their hostel life in cheerful atmosphere.

We have a strong alumini body and we organise regular alumini meet. our alumunus are not only all over india as well as all over the world. they are doing research in foreign universities. So they guide our current students as per their need. if any body want to visit them they provide every health. students regularly consult them. I was interested in animal sciences and liked to treat the pets thats why choose this course to become Veterinary doctor. The chances to get the job after veterinary course is almost 100%. I have qualified state level Pre veterinay test (PVT) conducted by VYAPAM every year. The entrace exam is open for MP domicile candidate. 85% seats are filled by state level exam while 15 % seats are filled by All india level exam NEET conducted by NTA. Besides this some seats are reserved for NRI students. Entrance exam held in May month every year and very competitive and meritorious students got selected for studing veterinary course. Advertisement by vyapam published in month of feb- march every year. the form should be filled online by mp online portal or using link via NDVSU website. This college comes under ND Vet Science University Jabalpur. University having 3 veterinary college and 1 fishries college besides 5 diploma colleges of Animal Husbandary. After entrance exams the counselling is conducted by university online. The qualified students can choose their college as per their choice and after choice is filled the college is alloted as per the merit in entrance exams. After college allotment students have to report their institutions for document verification and fee submission though if he is not satisfied he may be opt for college change option if seats will be vacant in next round. this is all about the admission procedure.

Around 100 theory and 50 practical lectures are their in each courses. Syllabus is very vast and very informative makes graduate very eligible for different type of jobs as the scope is multi directional. One may opt for job asclinician, diagnosis expert, biotechnologist, researcher, extension worker, pharma company, quality control, sales, feed factories, dairy tec. In college most of the staff is young and dynamic. besides Dean of the college Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Teaching associates are their to teach the students. Average age is 40 years as most number of seats of young assistant professors. There are 15 departments in veterinary faculty. Most of the teachers having PhD and qualified NET conducted by ICAR/CSIR. Minimum eligibility is PG only for teachers.All the teachers are expert in their subject, they mainly teches practical based study materials. they discuss field and industry based problems and their solutions. like nutrition expert teches how to make ration as per real need of animals. this will help to prepare economic and quality ration for industry and farmers both. Similary Microbilogy expert teaches how to detect virus, bacteria, fungus etc disease causing agents from blood, urine, feces, saliva of animal for proper diagnosis of disease. Meat technology expert teaches about meat processing, their keeping quality, nutritional value, consumer perspective etc. The study is totally need based and industry driven thats why our graduates are having plenty of jobs after their degree.During internship the industry and hospital exposure maked graduate ready for future problems and field exposure.
