Remarks

Galgotias University was a pretty good experience all in all for me. At times things would get hectic but there is nothing to complaint about as these are the experiences you should embrace. I made really good friends there. I loved the campus and the canteen. One major things it lacks in is educational environment and the seriousness towards the studies. If you have got good marks and you are very profession centric person then look for somewhere else because there are very good options for that. If not then it is a value for money college where you can have fun and learn too given you want to study.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As per the education quality and standards were okay or say average. Curriculum was alright but i would say there were teachers of both high calibre and pretty mediocre intellect. Education environment was pretty average, as curriculum and teachers can only do so much if the students are willing to learn. Sure thing if the student is serious he can groom himself and grow industry specific knowledge. One thing I would mention is that don't expect the peer crowd to be very good and intellectual as we all know what happens when admissions are direct. And if you are willing to be a professional in your course you have to be extra motivated and hardworking as there were no special grooming drills or industrial visits or things like that. Study curriculum only have necessary subjects and nothing extra.

Placement Experience

2.5

As for the placements were there but they were not quality jobs. Some companies which came were Justdial, Accenture, and others but mostly the profile was of sales and marketing. Only selected students got high quality jobs like 10% only. There were no major companies for finance and hr students. There were no special efforts for grooming students for the interviews and placements. Placements were conducted in the 5th semester and the process was fairly simple like appear for the face to face on campus interviews and selection depends on that. Although there was conditions for students appearing for placements like there should be no backlogs and required attendance.

College Events

2

In this department I was quite satisfied with the college as they held pretty good fests and celebrity appearances. Fresher parties were pretty good too. People who.like to manage events like these can participate in them as they provided certificates for participation in extra curricular activities. Adventure outings are arranged sometimes but its a irregular things so no one can say anything about it. If your are lucky then you can be the part of it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure was pretty reasonable if compared to other colleges and they accepted payment in all generally accepted forms. There were no additional or hidden fees for the admission part or after that. Although penalty for short attendance was pretty high as you will be debarred from the exam of the subject in which your attendance is short and you have to pay the penalty to appear for the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of the scholarships if they are available or not. For that students can enquire about the same from admission department

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio was good and balanced it's not like that there are too much males or females it would be approximately 60:40. Extra curricular activities were almost negligible as I mentioned the curriculum only composed of necessary subjects and substance needed for the course. Computer labs, library were pretty good and well maintained. Student diversity was there as I had students in my batch from various places around U.P. like delhi, bihar , agra , lucknow and U.P. obviously. I didn't face and think for anyone that there was any bias for or against any person of any cast or religion. In that case there is nothing to worry about. One thing to keep in mind is that there were many gujjars in the college as they form the local population around that area (just for information).

Alumni/Alumna

It was pretty normal as there was no ragging cultur and strict rules against it so Interactions with seniors was quite normal and at times good as all students mix up quite well with each other and senior don't treat you like senior but like a fellow person if you interact with them. Helpfulness depends on the individual but in general yes they will help you out and treat like a friend

Admission

I got addmission in Galgotias University in 2017 and did bba from there. Circumstances were such that at time for me that I was looking for a good college life and campus and good education obviously. Admission process was fairly simple. I got the direct admission in August or the same time period. There is one thing that I want to mention that while you may go to enquire about the admissions it's possible that you meet people claiming gauranteed admission for some commission, beware of those guys as you can get direct admission simply. As for the admission process they asked for all the documents and marksheets and simply instructed for further instructions. Why I chose this particular University? To be honest I was impressed with the campus and the reasonable fees, things I was looking while searching.

Faculty

4

Faculty was all mixed up. There were some really good teachers who would go extra mile for you to help you and teach you extra things out of syllabus like their experiences and how things work outside classrooms. There were also those teachers who were only there for the sake of job and formality they would just come and teach and go. But a good thing was that almost all teachers were experienced and were highly qualified even some were PhDs , motivated or not that's a different thing but yes they were all aware of their subjects. One thing which can be troublesome is that there scheduling was really poor and always changing there was no routine. One day there would be 8-9 lectures and other there would be only 2-3 lectures with 2 to 4 hours of gap between them. A really frustrating and time wasting management.
