Glimpse to my college and my college life

Management of our college was excellent. In every fest more than 10000 people used to come but we never faced any issues. Apart from that I didn't have ragging during whole program as management make sure to resticate those who are involved in such kind of activity.

There are 8 semesters in which except last semester we have 7-8 subjects per semester along with 2-3 subjects have lab sessions also included with them. Apart from that in 4 semesters we have options to adopt for optional subjects which is not mandatory but can be chosen according to area of interest depending on individual. In every semester we have very relevant subjects which are not only important for placement but also subjects like foreign languages(French, German Japanese, Korean) ,personality development (PD) which give students a platform to learn various domains.

There is decent placement in our college and more than 300 companies visit every year for recruitment of students. There is multiple rounds which one have to clear before getting selected for company( Aptitude round (mcq) , technical round (coding), group discussion and finally personal interview). In our college it is mandatory at the end of second year to do internship and in third semester we have to do one mocq's course (nptel, Coursera, udemy) and in last semester we have to write one research paper along with the project.

There are many cultural and technical fests like Milan, Aarush which not only provide students to show case their skills and talent but also help them to enhance it. These events help students in personality development. Apart from that there are many teams for various branches such as nexttechlab, robocon (computer science), hyubrotos(mechanical and automobile).

We have srm feekart platform where we have to submit our tuition fee, hostel, mess and laundry fee for 4 years. Tuition fee per year-185000 Hostel fee per year - 44000 Mess fee per year - 49000 Laundry fee per year - 5000 Book fee - 15000 Pd fees-15000 At time of enrollment we have to give dd of 1,00,000 rupee to ensure that one will come to college. In case after enrollment if one do not come then 1000 rupee is deducted and rest is return to the person .

No I didn't opted for scholarship but yes I had education loan of about 700000 rupees . At the end of every semester I have to submit my marksheet to bank and every year they used to give approx 140000 rupee.

In different branches the ratio for gender diversity was different. In computer science it was maximum (girl:boy)(1:3)and in automobile & mechanical it was least(1:15)There are many teams for various branches such as nexttechlab, robocon (computer science), hyubrotos(mechanical and automobile).

Yes we have very good alumni network and they not only give insight about companies but also tell how to prepare for them as well.

I gave Srmjeee exam and got 7500 rank.I opted for B.Tech in computer science engineering. Exam is conducted at various center PAN India and my center was Jaipur as it was my first preference. The date of examination was 26 April 2015.When I went for enrollment I came to know that in computer science there is 100% placement and more than 300 companies visit every year for recruitment.

There are more than 3000 lecturers in our college and their average age is between 35-40. Most of them have B.Tech, M. Tech and PhD. They have to write minimum 1 research paper every semester so they keep learning and have depth knowledge and subject expertise. They are very supportive and encourage students to learn new things and also help them to do online courses from nptel, Coursera, udemy etc.
