Remarks

The college is set on top of Bethany Hills and it’s infrastructure is amazing. The campus is beautiful with lots of open space and parking for students. The faculty are highly qualified in both teaching as well as mentoring the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course helps us with regards to the tourism, aviation and service industry. Industrials visits have been conducted as well as a months long internship had also been done to improve our practical knowledge of what we’re being equipped for in the future.

Placement Experience

4.5

I’ve worked for Hilton Garden Inn, Statue, an an intern, which happens to be the only one of its kind in my state. It was a wonderful experience.

College Events

4.5

Ivano Fest Kalolsavam Basketball tournament Ncc activities Inter department competitions Competitions organised by the College Blood donation camps NSS programs These are the activities we’ve taken taken part in and it has always been a pleasure to do so. It boosts morale and increases happiness among students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very much feasible as I felt that the amount is very less. Since it is a central government funded course as well, it puts less burden on the students and the guardian. There are no additional funds that are needed to be paid. The college provides proper breakdown of the fees (academic and examination) in a proper receipt.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not opted for any as I secured my seat purely on merit basis. Hence I’ve not opted for any loans.

Campus Life

4

The college is beaming with the female gender outnumbering the males in most courses. The famous Ivano Fest is held every year. The college happily and respectfully accommodates all sorts of diversities on the campus, be it gender, religion, race, sexual orientation etc. there is a healthy atmosphere for interaction among the students. The college politics is handled well. We have been the Kalotsav champions since decades now. The students are equally competitive when it comes to extra curricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

4

No I have not opted for a hostel as I’m a student who lives quite near by. My travel to the college is usually with my own vehicle or the public transportation which is very easily available because of the college’s prominent location.

Alumni/Alumna

We have some of Kerala’s very big faces as alumni of this college. The senior students are very helpful and supportive.

Admission

I got admissions to the college in the month of July in 2017. There was a written test and a merit list regarding the same, prior to this. After the list was put up, we were called for an interview regarding the basic knowledge in regards to the course and the admission process came to an end.

Faculty

4.5

The college faculty is sufficiently experienced as well as qualified in helping, educating and mentoring the students. The help and support us whenever necessary and also encourage asking doubts. They make sure no doubt goes without a clarification.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum had so many unnecessary subjects that had no connection with our courses like psychology, zoology etc. They could have avoided that. Jewellery Designing students also had to study advanced minerology . Which in my opinion was a bit unnecessary. Apart from that i learnt to improve my drawing and rendering skills. Learnt about new types and also the history of jewellery Designing. Tools and Machinery used.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Usually, in our coarse, we follow updated curriculum about food processing technology. We do also have food analysis on our practical classes 3 days per week. I have chosen this coarse because I believe that food processing technology era is growing drastically and we can see lots of opportunities in the same field itself. Improvement can be made in the curriculum, so that they can also include food laws , importance of food in india and world wide so that students will get to know more about the syllabus and food processing technology. The frequency of timing that we get inbetween the semester exams is about 4-5 months which is pretty enough to cover all the portions that they have taken and we can calmly prepare for our end semester and exams very well.
