Remarks
College management is fine for most cases. SRM Ramapuram doesn't put any efforts on extra curricual activites(Mostly Outdoor activities). Very Small infrastructure for the course Fee paid.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses focus on helping the students get a better idea of the subject they are going to be dealing with in the future for the first years. As we move on the second year subjects are more focused on self-research and a lot of practical uses. Yes, SRM organize many events where industries visit to promote and teach the students new stuff.
Placement Experience
Placement in our college is quite good as it toped the placement leaderboards last year. Internships are highly recommended by the faculty members and are willing to help the students anytime. Around 90% of the students get placed every year on campus.
College Events
Many events are celebrated on campus, but in SRM Ramapuram not all students are allowed to be a part of the events or just watch the event. Mostly classes overlap with the events and students aren't allowed to watch them. There are some big events where huge sponsors participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite expensive for a normal citizen. But based on campus the expenses for admission decrease by a small amount. Yes, the college provides transparency in the fee-breakdown. Any form of payment is accepted. None additional fees/charges that had to be paid to secure an admission to my course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college did offer scholarship opportunities to students which were determined after the SRM entrance exam was conducted and the results were displayed.
Campus Life
Campus life isnt the best in SRM Ramapuram due to small campus and strict rules inside campus, Gender Ratio would be around 4:1 Boys : Girl. There are students from around India in this campus. There are extracurricular activities that are hosted every now and then.
Alumni/Alumna
Faculty and Seniors are very honest mostly and love to help their juniors. My seniors have helped me achieve a Goal in life with their motivation.
Admission
I got admission in SRM after qualifying the entrance exam that they had hosted after the end of Class 12 boards. I choose SRM because it is one of the top private universities in India and it provides an excellent course for Computer Science. All the qualified students were called for interviews and the rest of the procedure was all paperwork.
Faculty
We have a lot of experienced teachers who are excellent in their respective fields. There are many lecturers available. Lecturers are always open to hearing doubts and helping each student, but some lecturers do the opposite. The average age would be around 35.
