Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good. Yes it is relevant, some what research driven and fair. But there are not such industrial consists organised for students. We also do many practicals which makes the subject more interesting and a better professional.
Placement Experience
I've still not visited any. Looking forward to it. I'm in second year so this time I'm trying for hospital internship.
College Events
Every Course holds its own techno cultural feats every year. It's a massive preparation. But this time they didn't held any food fest as the college canceled it because they think girls energy and food are wasted in these kind of fests. They think it's useless for holding feats like this as it's waste of time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
176000 per year, and it's feasible. Yes 10000 was deposited as a security money at the beginning of admission. Yes the college provides transperency in the fee breakdown. No other additional charges are paid in order to secure admission in my course. The fees is quite good as per the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I haven't opted for any scholarship. But the college provides scholarship for underprivileged students.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. Our university is a girls university. So gender ratio is not applicable here. Practicals are very important for a course, so our labs are well equipped with instruments. Our university believes in five fold activity, so after the college hours we can opt for any spots activity or other subject classes like any language class. We even have classes for CAT and UPSE entrance exams. We can also learn musical instruments, singing dancing, drawing. Our college also provides aviation course for girls.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I've opted for hostel as it's compulsory in my campus. We were given a new hostel so the rooms were very good. The wardens are okay. And the overall experience living in a hostel is good. The hostel rooms are sufficient for every student so no pG is provided.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college seniors are very interactive. They try visiting our hostels srtomes provides story material and also tell us their way of studying any particular subject in the course.
Admission
I got admission by giving an entrance exam. It was conducted on June 2018 and it's result came within the next 2 weeks. I opted Pharmacy because it was a subject of my interest. They called me at the end of June to their campus with all documents like school leaving certificate and results of the previous classes. It was a one day session with all medical fitness was done and fee structure was also discussed. I got my college id card that day itself. It was a long procedure but was worth it.
Faculty
Throughout the day the first half (9am-1pm) are for practicals as they have vital importance in our course, the other half (2pm-5pm) are for lecture of 1 hour each except for Sunday where lectures are held throughout the day. Our faculty are very experienced. Yes the lectures have relevant industry experience.
