Remarks

College and staff are very nice. Faculty were very experienced and cooperative

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum that underwent was not many professionals were 70% theory and 30% practical based. Every student needs to study the same three optional subjects physics Chemistry and Mathematics in addition to the two languages. Since the subjects were much theoretical in nature and there very less scope for application levels. During my studies, the examination was very strict and everybody followed the strict rules of the exam.

Placement Experience

2

During my college days, there were no placement activities conducted. Hence we never got placement assistance from the college.

College Events

4

Every in the month of January we were going to celebrate Class social day as well as college union day. But the very memorable moment in my college life was Silver Jubilee functions of my college where we enjoyed very lot In the function of various guests including cinema actors and political leaders.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very simple as many students are from the rural background the fees was affordable for each individual student. We are very grateful to my college staff and administrators. The fee structure was very transparent and there was no hidden fees or additional expenses were not incurred. Hence our studies were very easy.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a merit scholarship in my high school days and it was continued during my college days too and I earned 600 rs as a scholarship. It was very helpful for me for my studies. It is one of the inspiration for me to continue my studies.

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many different extracurricular activities was held like debate essay competition, quizzes etc I too participated in the activities also won many prizes, but there was no robotics like things during that time. Computers are also not there because the IT boom was just in the infant stages

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I have not opted for a hostel. But I was very much interested to stay in the hostel because I was coming from the village where it is located about 30kms from my college. But due to the circumstances, I am unable to stay in the hostel, it might have been lead less scoring in my graduation.

Alumni/Alumna

College senior students were somewhat helpful. But most of the students involved in their work there not much close relationship between arts and science students. Science students are more involved in the studies where arts and commerce backgrounds are spending most of their time chatting, playing etc

Admission

I got admitted to BSc degree during the year 1991-92 in college where I had completed my pre-university education in the same college and continue my career in the field of science. As a meritorious student in pu education, I easily got the admission to a degree course. My college was one of the reputed colleges in my locality and also prestigious among all colleges in the district. The selection process was very simple and straight. There was no such unhealthy competition was not there during my studying days.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties in our college were very well qualified and experienced. Hence the teaching was excellent. and the periods allotted for each and every subject is equal. Weekly five hours for each subject and practical classes are there for physics and chemistry of 3 hours duration.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
