Remarks

Over all teachers are helpful, we had regular classes and class tests which helped in continuous evaluation. However at times the management lacked the quality of taking strong decision. But overall it was a great experience to be part of the institution.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Yes the course structure is as per guidelines of Uttar Pradesh Technical University and is in accordance to the industrial standards. Two Industrial visits were arranged for the students. We also made live project in third and fourth hear of the course. Also we had a separate subject altogether for industrial training which had credits in our final evaluation.Although I felt the college should have focused more on the practical aspect of education which I though was a bit missing. However it also depends on the individual efforts of the student.

Placement Experience

3

Placements were good. We had companies like TCS,IBM,Wipro and HCL coming up for recruitment. Also the college tried there best by helping students with their tie up with Elitmus and AMCAT exam. But it also depends on individual's effort and dedication. Definitely it is not one of those college where even the one not doing there bit get placed coz its the college's responsibility.

College Events

3.5

We had our annual college fest which was a huge event in the name of cerebrum where the students participated in contests and also organised them. There was always a cash prize associated with it. Activities like street play, dramatics, poetry, recitation etc enhanced the soft skills of every individual. Cultural activities like singing, dance, fashion show were also organised. We had celebrity guests like Raghu Ram and other singers for the DJ night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a bit expensive with a tuition fees of 96000 and separate transportation charges of 21000 for availing the bus facilities. The hostel charges are from 50000 onwards. We do not have to pay the fees all together. You can pay it at the beginning of every semester. The security charges are reimbursed by the college once the course is over.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although I did not opt for it. But scholarship with full and partial fee waver was available for those whose parent's annual income was below two lakhs. Students were required to submit the application form for scholarship along with the income certificate. Scholarship was separately offered for the reserve category candidates and also for the ones who had some physical disability.

Campus Life

3

We had a lot of cultural societies which were actively involved in various students activities. Gender ratio was properly maintained. Discipline was taken care. We did not have any sort of discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Hostel Facilities

3

Although I did not opt for hostel, but the rooms and food quality was average. Freshers and seniors had separate hostels. Food was served four times including the morning and evening snacks. There was proper security and over all it was a pleasant experience

Alumni/Alumna

Not really actually. People are not very active on alumini network. although some of the students who have reached great positions in the organisation do their bid by helping students in recruitment and getting companies for campus placements.

Admission

I appeared for State Engineering Entrance Exam in the month of April. After the results were out in May we were called for counselling where we could lock the available choices as per our rank. The counselling slots were divided according to the ranks and the process lasted for around 10 days. Once the first round of counselling was over we had second and third phase of counselling. If you have already confirmed a college in round one of counselling and paid counselling fess of 5000 you do not require to pay it again. However if you do not confirm any choice in round one then to appear for round 2 you have to pay the counselling fees again. You can again make choices in subsequent phases of counselling as most of the students in round one who confirm there choices do not join the same college hence the seat remains vacant.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college was good. Some of the faculties were really dedicated. However few of them focused more on the theoretical part of the education. Faculty was very supportive but we always felt that they spent a lot of time on some part of the syllabus rather than giving equal amount of time to every unit.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
