Gender ratio iN CS branch was more girls and less boys. And reverse for Mechanical and Civil branches. EC branch was almost equal ratio of boys to girls. Campus life was fine. Strictness was there for attendance, marks and bunking was monitored. Projects also were expected to be of a good level.

Faculty is very good at HCST. Teachers are well equipped with knowledge and study material for their specific subjects. Every teacher has their style of teaching, but if you take notes properly and do your self study you can score well in the university exams.they also have PDP classes which have some of the best counselor for grooming students as professionals and imparting business skills.
