College days

Overall it was a good experience as we enjoyed our 4 years with frienda, and we rome to different cities a lot as we have really got a lot of time outside the college hours, we went to about 25 new location in those 4 years, explored the city of lakes to its best, and its all about your friend circle, if they are enthusiastic then you will not get to know when those 4 years passed with boom.it was really cheap studying at tgis college so i used the money in my training and interships and at last travelling. College management is average, you just need to make a good relation with hod's and communicate properly with faculties and you will easily get out with good grades.

The head of department faculties are pretty goos and supportive, but i can say that it needs to improve the syllabus and practical approach that lacks a lot, the syllabus that is being taught is not upgraded for so long. The good thing is that you gets so much of time to explore yourself as there are very less co curricular activities and events.

Placements are not so good but they are not even ao bad. At my time in the year 2018 our college has got a very bad grade c in placements so their is a very bad percentage of on campus selections as not much company visited our campus, but off campus the selection rate was good from our college. I got selected i mindtree ans cis at my first attempt. Their is basically a summer training and a internship so i did my training from indore in java and internship in big data from pune.

The best thing about this college is the fees. The fees is low in-comparision with other private inatitutes. At out time the fees of 1 year of engineering ia about 40166 for general students, and for obc and sc st's its even low i guess 25000 or less. Mode of payment accepted by college is online through sbi collect or demand draft.

No, i didnt opted for any scholarship ot loan, as i am capable to pay this fees with my ow n. And the criteria is i guess very simple for scholarship, if you belong to other back ward cast or schedule cast or schedule tribea then it is automatically given to them by showing their inldentity card and a letter head of their relegion. One more way to get acholarahip is tution fee waiver.

Gender ratio was even both boys and girla were their with a equal ratio. If i talk of my class their were 26 boys 24 girls, their were parties every year as when we were new we were given freshers by our seniors in a lavish pub, then in 2nd year we gave our juniors their freshers and then we gave farewell to our seniors and after that we got our farewell as simple as that.NSS were the only society, students were mostly from our state madhya pradesh. our college once conducted a robotica workshop. We went to iit roorkee for coding competition, and the cost is paid by our college.

No, i have not opted for hostels, as i was not use to live with so may people and using one bathroom between 8 people or share 1 bed with 2 people, and the most horrible thing was ragging, i heard that inside college the ragging is totally banned but in hostels its their, and it was right too, my friends in 1 st year told a lot about the ragging.but the hostel is vey very cheap in comparision to outside flat or rental rooms. If we compare then it is like the monthly rent of my flat was the yearly rent of hostel

Yes,all of the seniors were really helpful, whenever i asked them aomething i got a positive reply. I want to name few of my seniors that were really helpful for me:- sachim pathak, rohit sir, avinash sir, pranav sir, etc.

I got selected by jee main marks, my first choice waa computer science in an government college, ao i got this in my first counselling, so i upgraded for a more better college but in second counselling also i got the same college after some enquiry i finally took that college with computer science branch.

The head of department teachers are good qualified and had great knowledge. There is good time interacting with them, and they are quite supportive too. They have a minimum of phd degree. But the downside is that few faculties are given more than 2 subjects teach aa their is a shortage of faculties.
