Remarks

Its located in IT city of India which is Bangalore. This college is affiliated to VTU, which us good technological university in India. According to my comedk rank counselling got this college. I chose electronic and communication because I was interested in the same course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some subjects are very recent like 4G communication, optical fibre communication. But some subjects were very old. We studied the microprocessor which was a very old course. faculties were not good. Some of them were good at teaching but boring.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement and job opportunity are quite good. Most of the students from CSE and ECE background get placed. There is a very rare placement for civil and mechanical background students. No core company for circuit branches. Most of the placements are in the IT sector.

College Events

Overall campus life is just ok. Extracurricular activities are poor. Only one big cultural festival in a year. There is no technical fest. Sports in college is good. There is a big field where any type of sports can be played.

Overall campus infrastructure is good. Sports facilities are good. Wi-Fi only provided in the hostel only at non-college time, speed was good. The library is very good. There is a lot of books collection is there. Digital library facility is also provided.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

Truth of Don Bosco institute of technology Bangalore

Definately i choosen the wrong college because I don't have options because I wrote Jee mains and I scored 89 percentile but I am from general category since I have no reservation the cut off missed by 1 percentile I was hoping that I will clear jee die to that I didn't concentrate on kcet due to that it came the worst result so I was getting only civil, mechanical by kcet that to same college Don Bosco Bangalore college then I applied for comed k in that I got ok ok result but there my bad luch in 1st round I got Swami Vivekananda College Puttur , in 2md doubt Don Bosco institute of technology so I hope that in 3rd round some how I will get upgrade but didn't get in COMEDK if u got ill 3rd round then the fees is not refunded so there is no option...Read More
