Remarks

Can be improved. The teachers although amazing doctors must pay more attention on teaching

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Ut is a good system. Involving many practical components as well as theory Annually apart from the minor exams there are 3 main exams which the students prepare for. Term ending prelims and the university exams. In each exam there is theory and practical with 50-50 weightage.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement body as such is not there and every student is required to complete internship so as to get the degree

College Events

2.5

Cultural day, traditional day, freshers farewell annual week sports week The cultural week occurs in the month of January following the sports week So the months of January and February are booked to be eventful. The rest of the year is mostly silent but on and off the national festivals are celebrated like dandiya ganesh chaturti

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive Medical studies are expensive but in a country lile india where there is a shortage of doctors there should be a decrease in the fees. Even when a central body is regulating all colleges there is still a proce hike in the college fees to such an extent that only a few can afford it

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven’t so I cannot comment on how to apply for it. People take loan every year and it can be catwred to in a bank

Campus Life

3.5

Campus is small but college life is good, a vibrant feel present in college Students get to do a lot of activities within the campus like cycle. It has within campus 4 gyms a playing area. Other facilities are zumba swimming. There are is a beautiful and well equipped cafeteria where students meet and discuss.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes There are two types of hostel facilities one with double sharing and other with triple sharing the triple sharing ones are non ac and the double sharing are provided with ac hostel lfe is good with no ragging and a friendly atmosphere

Alumni/Alumna

Can be improved The juniors dont really getvto know where exactly the seniors get placed after leaving the college. There is no ragging

Admission

Through central competition. After school is completed all medical students sut for a centralized medical wxam called NEET. Thatcis the common entrance for all medical colleges in india and all students get admission through that. Once selected according to the rank scored students are allotted colleges

Faculty

3

Good The faculty of 1 and 2 year are good and dedicated towards the students but the as we go ahead in the rest of the years some departments are ignorant. For many subjects it is self study. Nevertheless the patient exposure is amazing and a doctors learning is best only with the patient so that balances it

Course Curriculum Overview:

In today's world, commerce is relevant everywhere. The course provides us with valuable insights and practical knowledge which helps us in the real world. Subjects like cost and works accounting and business economics is very much practical and used in our day to day life. If studied well then exams are a piece of cake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the BBI course curriculum at Lala Lajpat Rai College as fairly relevant and moderately comprehensive. The focus on finance, banking, and insurance subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum gives a good theoretical base and helps in preparing for further studies like MBA, M.Com, or government exams. However, it lacks practical exposure, internships, and industry interaction, which could make it more job-oriented. Teaching methods can also improve by including case studies, field visits, and guest lectures.Exams are held twice a year (semester-wise) and include internals (25 marks) and externals (75 marks). They are moderately difficult manageable with regular studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing this college or any other college for that matter should do is host people from different walks of life and ask them to brief the students about whatever great things they know. You should also prepare your students for different life skills. A webinar on how to budget properly, how to invest, how to survive in a jungle etc. The practicals that were given to us held very less value in my opinon. It seemed as if we are just doing the practicals for the sake of it.
