College was good as enjoyed my college life fully, but management was sometimes very rigid
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is relevant as after 2nd year of my graduation I choose CA stream. At that time in my period there was no industry specific knowledge no industrial visit provided by the college only course related knowledge was there. Course curriculum was not only means to secure on campus placement other knowledge is also required
Placement Experience
As there was no such campus placement in the year 2007. There was one BPO company who had come for the recruitment and taking the test on computer and wants the students to work in night shift after recruitment and also there was no internship in my time period between 2004 to 2007
College Events
It was full of event celebration. The college hold sports day, fashion show and annual day by my college. The sports day may take 3-4 days as there was different teams from other districts came for the tournament and also had a cricket team where inter college team was to be selected as the Sophia college holds the tournament for the first time
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure was expensive as compared to other college. No transparency of fees breakdown. As it was a one time fees in the college for every year before joining the college. And the other fees charged for the examination fees also. The payment mode was cash
Fees and Financial Aid
I think there was the scholarship but not remember the criteria. No i had never opted for loan as it was no required by me
Campus Life
As it was the girls college and a Christian worship. The college starts with a prayer where all students had to mandatory attend it. At my time it was on 8 am where we was assembling in a hall and sister come for the prayer then after we go to our classes. The college is always had a extracurricular activity like sports day, drama competition, debate competition, social activities, and had a annual day celebration
Hostel Facilities
No because Ajmer was my hometown. No need for the hostel. I had up down to my home regularly because there was no extra hour teaching we can easily reside at our home and go college regularly with our vehicles
Alumni/Alumna
No such interaction with my friends as I had choose CA stream for that there was only few which I can remember but never contacted personally, some of them are on Facebook also
Admission
I had admitted in college in 3 rd round of merit list, as it is only the college which is English medium and have a sports facility. And the college has a good reputation and known for its discipline.My father and elder sister had choosen the college
Faculty
As there was 6 to 7 lecturers every year in my Graduation course. The age of professor was 70 + who had taught me Business statistics, and another professor may be 65+ taught me Business Environment in India, rest was between 30 to 40 yrs of age around.
