The college is very good for people who want to take up an MBA degree and its the best we can have in Rajasthan.

The course curriculum has not been updated for many years. And it lacks relevance of today's time. However, the faculties who teach at our college have a diverse experience of the field and provide good knowledge of the subject to us. There are a few projects that we have to take up that help us to apply the theoretical knowledge that we study and build us towards becoming a better professional for the industry.

Starting with the internships, the college does have a tie-up with SBI and a few other banks where students can do their summer projects and learn a lot about how the industry works. But the majority of students have to hunt for an internship by themselves. Majority of the placements of students are done through reputed private banks like Bandhan Bank, Icici Bank, Au Bank etc. Some finance and consultancy companies also offer placements to students like Acs Consultancies, Wonder Home Finance etc. The students who have an interest in getting placed in human resource department face some difficulties as those companies don't normally visit our campus.

There are a lot of events and activities that happen like freshers, debate competitions. Just a minute competition, Hindi day celebration, Open Mic event, Sports Week etc. Also, there is a cultural week that is celebrated in the month of February in which diverse activities take place.

It's the most feasible fees for a Masters degree. The fee structure is only 2.5 Lakhs for a period of two years and there is a provision to avail scholarship if you're in the merit list of top 30 students out of the batch size of 120. These students get a deduction of 1 lakh from their fees.

I didn't opt for any education loan. I could not even qualify for the scholarship provided by the Institute.

The Gender ratio of our batch was 60:40 for girls to boys. There are a lot of courts that have been developed now for sports activities for students. Also, a new auditorium has been made with a capacity of at least 200 students where a lot of events can be organized in future. There is a decent facility of Computer Lab inside the premises where some practical classes of IT takes place. The extra curricular activities are good in the college and if a student wants can engage in a lot of stuff and expand his /her skills by being a part of different clubs like Social Responsibility Club, Sports Club, Social Media Club, Cultural Club etc. Each club helps students by providing a platform to explore different things and increase their participation and engagement by adding in good points for the CV where they can easily flaunt themselves.

No. There is no hostel facility at our college. The students usually live in the hostels of Rajasthan University or in PGs nearby where they feel comfortable. Students usually prefer to live in the area nearby to the campus.

The Alumni network is very helpful and so are the seniors as they constantly guide us about the industry and what companies we should target, provide us with notes and are just there if we need anything from them. There's an Alumni meet that happens every year and one thing that Poddar is famous for is its strong alumni base, and it has produced many known names in the industry.

I got the admission in the college by appearing in an entrance examination named PIMMAT. This college is a part of the University of Rajasthan and admits students only on the basis of this exam and the students who clear this have to appear in a Group Discussion and have a Personal Interview.

There are only 4 permanent faculties in our college which is a drawback of I believe on the part of the University that more people are not being hired for the job and half of those who are teaching our batch will soon retire in a year or two. So the gap needs to be filled soon. Also, they have a good experience which helps them to impart the knowledge which will benefit the students to become industry ready. There are many facilities who come to teach are college who are from the industry and have a command over the subject which helps alot. The teachers almost all have a PhD degree with them.
