Remarks

The college is very good but should call more companies for the placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is relevant and its motive is to make the student learning each and every subject it's less research driven and more of bookish knowledge but that definitely helps in tackling interviews in future as most of the companies as for basic knowledge only.

Placement Experience

4

The placement process I will say is not very good. The college will provide very good training for placement like they will have sessions for mock interviews etc. But the number of companies coming for placement are very less.

College Events

4.5

There are many events taking place in college like an annual event, music event, dance event, tech events. The annual event abhivyakti also features a special guest usually a very famous singer celebrity. The technical events, other colleges also participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, usually the fees of every college nowadays are 100000 lakh per year. The same is with this college also. Hostel fee and transportation fee is above this. Approximately fee of 100000 will include tuition fee, exam fee, lab fee etc. Most of the government college is also having the same fee structure of I would say that the fees are feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarships but I have taken an education loan of 4.5 lakhs. The loan was taken from SBI. And its process is very simple.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is so-so, gender equality is maintained and no biasness based on gender is done. The are is a yearly sports event organised. The competitions such as robotics also take place yearly. There are other competitions like debate, public speech and environment day

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I did not opt for the hostel as I was living in the same city so I decided to be a day scholar, some of my friends who were from other cities, they were staying at the hostel and paying hostel fee of around 12000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are helping and they provide support in placement as well. I interacted with one of the alumni. I got his email from a college alumni group and he helped me in getting a job, referred me for interviews in 2-3 companies.

Admission

Pass the entrance exam UPTU, the rank in UPTU on the merit basis will be the deciding factor. Exam dates are decided by UPTU, most probably April or May. After the results are out the counselling will take place and student can provide the list of colleges he/she is interested then the result of counselling will the be announced in a week and the student will know which College he/she has got. Then to hold the seat student must submit a draft. Later the admission process will take place at the college and rest of the fees will be submitted there only.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is dedicated, responsible, knowledgeable and hard working. They organize surprise test and weekly tests also to make sure students are constantly studying. There are separate faculty for labs and their task is to give complete knowledge on practicals.

If the CPGA is good and have good skills then campus placement is almost confirm, but in recent situation even campus placement has become hard. Mass hiring companies with 3.6lpa are becoming more prominent. 90% sitiing in placement are placed and average is 9 lpa for CSE but lower for other courses. If unplaced then I will apply off campus while studying for GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Official Curriculum: Good What was actually taught: Just horrible We were taught pre-ANSI C in the first year We were taught outdated DOM APIs in WebDev classes that were deprecated and strongly recommended against We were taught Java 1.8 instead of modern Java and a lot of times the teachers insisted that the syntax I used was incorrect even when the code was compiling and running in front of their very own eyes with the same syntax in place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

IIITL placement stats r v.good that is the only reason i took this college. And also it is a growing college so in future hope it is also good in fests and cultural activities as well. Areas of improvement is the tecaher student interaction as the teachers and directors r not interested in what students do, so yaa that thing and also the fests they suck. Exams all good nothing to change.

At JSSATE, from second year trainings start and after that we have to give various mocks at the university. So, training is done proper and therefore placements automatically becomes easy for us. Around 70-75% students are placed through campus and in my words, placements are better than the rest.
