College is good. If any student have potential to achieve the goal of their life faculty is fully support them. Fees wise also ok.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes KIET is good to learning. Curriculum and extra curriculum both activities are provided by college. Clubs of creativity to sports debates quizzes so many things is here for grooming. Knowledge ful activities are here. Placement is based on skills of students. For placement and bright career student need to do more certification where other fees required this is become the restrictions of student who are want to learn different foreign languages and more .
Placement Experience
In the college after 2nd sem we attend internship fair and week of internship. There was n number of company visited the campus for placement drives for every course. For MBA there was number of company less than btech and other courses. Jaro lmt for marketing. Aim india for finance , pasito for marketing, clear dekho and more visited the campus. 60 to 70 % student placed with their efforts in college placement and for others college help and motivate.
College Events
Literature fest, prastuti, Epoque (cultural) Innotech , innolympic, (technical) Budget conclave, MUN and more for Management. All events are held in different level accordingly. Department, inter college and and intra college. Participation of students is depend on interest , cost and time.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College fee is not low but less then so many colleges. Mode of payment was demand draft. Additional fees for books, uniform and other certification plus security charges. Hostel fee is also deposited as I m hosteler. College not provide Any transparency in the fee break-down.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes college provide scholarships but in some criteria. No any guarantee for getting scholarships. Earning source of parents and caste is matter for getting scholarship.
Campus Life
Approximately equal number of boys and girls are in the campus. Events are held by faculty no other parties allowed. I attend one workshop till now in my mba. No more diversity I noticed. Everyone can right to participate avoiding to there choice. No politics and all.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I am hostler. Hostel is not bad. Mess Gym study room available. Yes seats are few and in one room 3 student have to manage. There is no room for 2. Food is ok. Mba , Btech , B.pharma, Mca all courses students are in the same hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful as they guide us in different aspects of course. Sometimes they guide to choose the course or certification which is relevant with mba. Regarding placement and academics we learned a lot from them.
Admission
Entrance Exam - AKTU (UPSEE) - april Councelling- june Document verification -july Fees deposited- july After Bcom, Mba is my choice to enter in corporate life and learn business. KIET is in list of good colleges of up. Other then it's fees is also less than other colleges.
Faculty
Different semester having different number of subject. 8 or 9 till now as I m in 2nd semester. We attend 8 lectures daily and sometimes also attend the class in weekend. Every lecture took 1 hr 45 min. There is different experienced and knowledge ful professor available for us . There is no any industry experience or certification till now.
