GLA College is quite good with its infrastructure, competent faculties, library facility, canteen facility, festival celebrations annual day celebrations and many more

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, course curriculum was well designed from exam point of view in the field of life sciences. also it was research driven involving practicals in every year and semester. Thus helping me to understand the basic concepts of life sciences and basic research.

Placement Experience

yes, placement from the college is also good. companies visit the college and meet students and organize placement drives for different course students. I have done my BSC Internship from Auroprobe Laboratories ghaziabad and MSC internship work from Panacea Biotec, Chandigarh.

College Events

Every year biotech department organize a Biotech awareness week involving a no. of technical competitions, cultural events at a good level. renowned personalities from other institutions were welcomed as the judges for all the events. Different festivals were also celebrated at college campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it was quite expensive but the environment given at college, all the facilities make it a good deal. In 2011 it was nearly 1 lakh per year for MSC Biotechnology course and now the fees has risen. At that time fees was to be deposited in college overseas bank in campus itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college as such donot provide any scholarships but provide monetary rewards to toppers of the courses. also helps to provide UP govt. scholarship to students of all courses with annual income of less than 1 lakh

Campus Life

Yes, a no. of competitions and extra curricular as well as curricular activities that motivates us and develop a positive attitude were organized by college in all the departments monthly. sports day also celebrated every year. speech and debate competitions in biotech department was organized avery year

Hostel Facilities

NO I was a localite only. but yes hostels of college were very good in condition with very good food in mess available to students and teachers. rooms with wifi facilities were there which really help students.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, all the seniors, faculties and even the administration staff seniors remain in touch with their students and help them in life and guides at every step of life too. every year college organizes a alumni meet so that the faculties, seniors and students could interact with each other.

Admission

Two chapters of biotech in standard 11 biology book attracted me to choose this as my graduatiob & post graduation subject. My interest in biotechnology led me to take admission for this course. It was the first biotech college in mathura region at that time.

yes, all our faculties were very good in teaching their subjects. All were phDs or net qualified so also able to taught us from NET Examination point of view. also some guest lectures gave us the knowledge relevant to biotech industries and research institutions

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have selected the course for MSc statistic in this student have vast area to explore in the government sector as well as private and also in the research field. In this University the teaching method is the best method till now I have experienced. I don't think to say it is bad but in this university before semester examination student have to give assignment class test mid semester practicals and all which is very hectic and annoying for the student.

This course MSc statistics is best for the students who are preparing for the government and and private sector exams and doing preparation for research. No I don't think that there is any requirement to be get improved in teaching methods because they teach us to the best they can.

Campus always giving placement to those students who are eligible for that means that their knowledge, interview confidence also their marks in the last semester. In the last 2nd last semester university provides the eligibility criteria for the students to appears in this . Several famous companies are visited with lot's of opportunities to helping in the students career. Approx seventy five percent or more than this percentage students university provides placements.
