Remarks

At first place I wanted to pursue by career in biotechnology and I couldn't crack jee so then looking for good private colleges I learnt about srm having one of the best lab infrastructure for our department so I chose this college. Moreover I have got positive feedback from one of my senior of the college when I was planning to opt for SRM.And moreover I looked the ambience of the campus

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion the course syllabus is diversified enough to explore and find out one's area of interest in real.faculties are good enough to help us with our works though few exceptions stay but majority of them are students friendly.

Placement and job opportunities till date is good.Out college gets mass recruiters as well as dream companies for placements.Alumni network is strong even many pass outside have build up their own companies and they now come to college to recruit students. The placement cell is working well for students though for biotechnology we don't get much core companies to sit for recruitment but they allow us to sit for all the IT companies and mass recruitment companies for our help.

College Events

Srm conducts two fests in a year.one tech fest and one cultural fest,we getvto attend few great events and concerts. Aaruush is the technical fest and Milan is the cultural fest.We get huge number of participation each fest and get great opportunities to show casecour talent.

Campus Life

It has good sport facilities like a big basket ball court and a separate football playground and a cricket playground. Wifi facility is fair enough inside campus. Srm has got a huge library with ample amount of resources.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I have opted for hostel.Hostels have there own mess,each hostel has its study halls,TV halls and separate rooms for indoor games.Inside the hostel area we ha e grocery stores and restaurants and food stalls in case students wants to eat anything outside mess.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
