Entrance Preview

In those day there was MH-CET in Maharashtra state , so l had150\200 Marks in 2010So I was decided to go for engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

1

The course curricum was very enough to judge the engineers and there are more theoretical than practical. In every semester 5-6 sub are there so we have to study lot . Each semester exam very much based on theoretical than practical experience so there is very little use in actual practice in industry.

Internships Opportunities

There was no internship in our college no stipend . So many company came but no one offer internships for engineer. I think only MBA program company offers internship .

Placement Experience

1

Companies like TCS like that is coming to our campus TCS selected around 109 students from our campus . After that there were very few company offer job and core mechanical companies not come to college campus.

College Events

0.5

In our college as technical event as a mesa organized so many events , beats is cultural festival organise very enthusiastically compascomunee is management event organised by Infosys puneIn which I was activally participating as a group leader.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual fee structure was arranged by shikshan shulk shamiti Maharashtra .So it was different for every year so in our it was 80,000 Rs. So to much fee is collected from student without giving any facility for student .that not going to work in recent years.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is earn and learn scheme for economically weak student it was very helpfull for student . Loan availability is not going done by banks and no other scholarship is being given.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources
