Remarks

Got my preferred course in my preferred branch. The city is close to where my parents stay. It is a metro city so all facilities are available. The campus and hostel is very nice. The teachers are nice here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is a little outdated. All engineering colleges in India have outdated syllabus especially for first-year student. Academics is okay. Some faculties are very nice. They teach very well and all concepts are cleared. Some are okay.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

They are good I guess. Not well aware of them. Multiple company visit. The profiles offered are good. I am not aware of the number of students placed. placement process is good. placement department is al good.

College Events

The festivals are very nice in our college. I am a committee member for the technical fest. The whole team works very hard to make the fests memorable. The guests called for all our fests are very very nice. They are all famous personalities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I secured a small scholarship because of my rank in the entrance exam. I did not avail any loan facility so I do not know any details about the loan facilities. They do offer a scholarship on the basis of our academic performance also.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is extremely good. Very nice hostels with a lot of facilities. The classrooms are also very nice. The campus is very green and that is an extremely good thing. the fact that the college is away from the city is nice.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is fantastic. The rooms are spacious. They have an attached bathroom which is a great advantage. The hostel infrastructure is maintained very well. they respond to our complaints as soon as possible. the staff in our hostel is also very nice.

Hostel Fee: INR 250000 per year

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
