I chose srm because its ine of the best engineering college in the country and also the best private university. Students are provided with every facility. The thing iike the most is that the college focuses on the overall personality of the student and also the opportunites it gives to student to enhance their personality. I opted for btech ece because of vast career opportunities in this field and also because of my interest

The course which i am doing currently is well designed according to the engineering cirriculum. Additional subjects like aptitude and management princioles helps us to build our personality skills and will help us to clear our placement apti tests. The faculties in my department are quite friendly and helpful. They teach everything from a scratch. The facultiea are well qualified from reputed universities. They clear all our doubts and also guide us towards a better future.

the college prepares all the students very well for the placement. the companies visit the campus. the core companies visit the campus in the month of jan -feb. the average package offered by the mass recruiters is about 4-5lpa. last year almost all the students were placed. the highest package offered being 35 lpa. we also have an entrepreneur cell in our college which help students to set up their business plan. they go through the plan and help them financially and guide them to help them build their career and in every possible way.

The campus life us quite chill. the college organises many fests and events. For freshers they organise shuru in which the freshers portray their talent like singing dancing modelling or dramatics etc. then in the month of september we have a national level techno management fest aarush in which renowned people are called to motivate students. also we have several other activities in aarushike games, quizzes etc all related to science. In month of march we have culural fest milan in which bollywood celebrities are called and we have dj night and concerts. both fests are big and outsiders are also allowed to come. in addition to this diwalj dandiya holi etc are also celebrated followed by dinner. SRM MUN is also conducted every year where different colleges participate.

The campus is 250 acres big. We have 2 campus,fhe annexure campus which has branches like ece biotech and cse. This campus has our hostels and cafes etc. The other campus is the main campus which has all the core branches like civil mechanical elecrical mechatronics etc. The library is 3 floors big and we get all course related books or novels, the labs are well equiped and has all latest softwares. sport facilities we have like basketball court, badminton court etc. we have gyms for boys and girls and also cafes and stationery shop etc
