Remarks

Well known college of Delhi University. It is near to my home with metro and other transport services near to the college. Faculty here is helpful and well educated here. The college campus is also nice with all the facilities one need in their college.

Syllabus was up to date with proper practical labs. There is not much industry exposure but the department provide one trip every year to any respective industry of the course.faculties were really very good here.

I have done an intership in urban clap for 3 months as business developer with a stipend of 7500 per month

Placement and jobs were less in my department but other courses like commerce and arts have good rate of job opportunities. Pool interview also took place everywhere.there one can apply for jobs or interships.

College Events

Campus Life is good here. Every department had there own evemt. Many activities took place over the three years. Quizzes, drama event sports event and many more held every year. Other colleges also participate in these events.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

No, i had not applied for any scholarships but if anyone needed any kind of help they can get help from the Delhi University. Many schemes and scholarships were given on the basis of merit family income and others.

Wi-Fi enabled campus. College has one of the biggest library in the university. All kinds of sports and extra curricular activities are also available here. NCC and other activities like hiking were also held time to time

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility not available in the campus. But you can try in the south campus they provide hostel facilities to the students of the university. There the infrastructure is very good and is well connected to the market place.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because in the department of botany our college got 1st rank in all over India. And also botany is the core branch of any biology courses which belongs from plant biology. The frequency of exams was approximately 3 months in a semester. And level of examination was moderate which is pretty good for students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very updated and deep. It is almost equal to the btech course. Many papers are the same as the btech syllabus. Better than many other university syllabus. May be a little difficult to catch up if you come from any other streams. Also, they provide a generic elective subject which is helpful for the students to acquire the basics from other streams.

Placement Experience:

The placement is given to students from 5th sem onwards. The avg package is 6.4lpa and a no. Of company visits the campus. The major roles they offer are of finance, marketing and sales. Major ratio of students go for higher education so the no. Of students getting placed is quite low.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was not sure about whether i should go for physics hons or computer science hons. I thought I should study both so that I can know in which subject I am interested . So this course helped me in that. Also if you are one who wants to pursue career in civil services this can be the one of the ideal courses for that, as it is not that much difficult to study as well you can prerpare for your other exams side by side.

Placement Experience:

you get eligible for placement in the third year and various companies approach you while you are in the third year provided you have a skillset. The highest package so far is of 25 lakh and the percentage of students getting placement is about 40 percent. My plans are also the same getting a placement and then seeing for further bigger opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My interest lies in Chemistry. So, I opted for it. The faculty of Dyal Singh College of Chemistry is good, some teachers are phenomenal but there are also some below-average teachers. In the last year, I had found good teachers. The curriculum is not so difficult, you just have to remain regular in classes. You can score good marks in Labs so it will be easier to pass the written exam. The exam happens in a 6-month cycle.

I have chosen this course because I like studying history and geography. Everything is good, but a bit of improvement is needed. We have an awesome sports meet and the final big party. The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides a good quality library which offers enough quantity of books to everyone. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. Every facility is available in our college. Wi-Fi facility also works at a good speed. Medical and sports facilities are very good. The canteen needs some improvement, but it maintains hygienic.
