My guide forced me to apply in it. Because according to him SRM was a right place. But actually it wasn't. My parents also were in touch with him and thus he brainwashed my parents or I would have moved to some other college.
Course Curriculum Overview
For very few courses, Professor's take good class. But maximum there are not so good teachers. And the curriculum is not as in the CSIR-NET syllabus, which lacks us from other college students in clearing it.
Placement Experience
Placement are okay. Only satisfactory as defined by the institute you will get placement. But I would suggest that if you are good enough you can join. If not then after the completion of the degree, you can prefer to join your father business, if your father has so.
College Events
Being an engineering student and a hostler your life is good, you'll enjoy it. But for other Departments there is no value given to the students. Among them Department of Mathematics is the worse. Because they do not value their students much. Your words will be suppressed by the higher authorities in this department.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is much good if comparing with other good institutions. Problem is inside the labs, where many systems won't work. In a hostel for Arts and Science students there will be 8 students in one room. Overall the structure is good.
