Anonymous's Review On Samrat Ashok Technological Institute - [S.A.T.I], Vidisha

My marks were not to good and I was'nt eligible to get admission in any IIT and NIT. S o the next option for me is to apply for state government college as I'm from MP so I apply for the MP counselling and in my second list of counselling I got a chance to get admission in S.A.T.I. Firstly I was not happy to be a part of this college because Vidisha is a small town. But later this institute helps me in exploring my self and I learnt a lot of things here, which one private college student is not even aware of and the issue of small town is not a big deal because just there is a 1 hour of distance between Vidisha and the capital of our state Bhopal.

The course curriculum that I studied here is mostly theoritical and the teacher's here are not much advanced of practical knowledge. There is a need to change the student pattern in our country because bookish knowledge is not sufficient in present time to face and work in reality. Yes, one of the faculty of my institute was good. I like the way he teaches student. While teaching he always tries to connect with the present scenario what is happening in our surrounding and also try to stay connected with the students.

Yes, I opted lots of internship during my 4 year's of college life. Here are all- 1. My first internship was as an INTERNSHALA as a Internshala student partner. Here I learnt many skills like public speaking, convincing skills etc. 2. My second internship was in Money- Wizards Youth money olympiad and here I work as a volunteer and I did'nt get any stipend here. 3. My 3rd was in Reaching Sky foundation and Indian Road safety campaign both are like NGO's. 4. My 4th was in Reliance JIO under digital champion campaign and I got platinum certificate here along with letter of recommendation. 5. My 5th internship was in Humor Nation for content writing and here I wrote 80+ articles and I got a stipend of rupees 6000/-. 6. And lastly, I am currently working as a Google Assistant NLU at RWS Moravia. Its a localization service for a digital world and the company is situated in Czech Republic. I get 10 usd dollar per hour here as a stipend.

only one company that is fixed and is visiting every year is Capgemini. But this year many companies visit our institute like Lido, HCL, and many marketing companies. But mostly the students that were placed are by sitting in open campus in bhopal. TCS, wipro, tech mahindra, infosys, zensar all are coming in open campus every year and people sit and placed from here.

My Life in S.A.T.I is pretty good. These 4 year's of my college life is quite memorable and I'll surely miss these college days. Hostel life is S.AT.I is very special part for every student who stays here. I've enjoyed every single moment in hostel and its like my second home. There are 4 hostel in campus 2 for girls and 2 for boys and we have our separate farewell's in hostel too and guys its really full of masti, dhamal and fun. we also celebrate all the festivals here and on ocassion of ganpati we have a big event in our campus i.e "Ganpati Utsav". we the students of all the 4 hostels make arrangement with the help of our faculties and in the year end we have to big event in our institute one is "Samrat Utsav" and another one is " Techfest". Apart from this we have different types of clubs in our institute though all are run by students only with one faculty coordinator in it.

No, I did'nt get any scholarship from this institute and neither I have taken loan. But the scholarship facility is good in our institute and the SC/ST and OBC students are getting good amount of scholarships and even they get money for staying and stationary purpose too.

Infrastructure of college is good but not fully advanced and is now upgrading day by day. Wi-fi facilities in our college is good and college is also providing free 24/7 wi-fi facilities for students in hostel too. labs of our linstiute is good but there is a need of much advancement in the systems available for work. In sports sectors the infracture is not much advance according to me there is a need of proper lighting in basketball court and also there is a need to work properly for greenery. One more thing in which our institute is lacking is time bounding, there is a need to open the hostels 24/7 so that whenever students get time after student can play games outside and there is a need of one canteen in our campus to be open 24/7 because the canteen in our institute is open only in college hours and is not much advanced.

There were two girls hostel that time Indira Gandhi and Kalpana chawla. I stayed for 2 years in one of the hostel. The rooms of the hostel were not in good condition and we faced problem of leakage during raniy season and the food facility is also not good andthere are hygiene problem too. We (the students) have to go sabzi market turn by turn to purchase vegetable which is reallly disappointing as the maintanence was not good, there is a need to provide proper staff for this, as this is not the work of students and there is one more issue that time was of water cooler and geyser as both were not working properly because the hostel is too old and need renovation and as now this hostel is closed for renovation.
