I was an repeater for NEET but even after my second attempt i couldn't manage good govenment medical college so i decided to go for biotechnology.And from my seniors in school i came to know about srm having b.tech biotechnology course with the specilization so gtting the opportunity to do my undergraduation witha specialization in regenerative medicine i decided to join SRM and i cracked the SRMJEE and accordingly joined the family of SRMIST.

Our course curriculum is good.It is designed in such a way that we can bring up the best out of it finding our own field of interest.SRM follow the course curriculum as guided by UGC so there's nothing much college can bring change about in it,they are following whatever UGC norms are guiding them to do.Industrial exposure for my department is not very much i would say,this is somehing our college should try to build up though for other departments people are getting really great industrial explosure from college.Faculties are really talented and holds great knowledge in their own fields and helps us as much as possible.

for my branch particularly the placement and job opportunities for core companies are not so good,as india has only few biotech companies,but we are allowed to sit for the mass recruiting companies and other IT companies.Our college gets around 5,000 to 7,000 companies coming up to for recruiting over the year.As per my knowledge our seniors are working in big MNCs and some of them have started up their own companies as well.Most of the seniors from our department are studying abroad doing there master's there.

Campus life is actually what we all srm students enjoy.We have got a great campus life.inside our campus we have everything available starting from a multi speciality hospital to shopping stores and lots of food stalls all around the campus.Our college holds two fests yearly-Aaruush and Milan and these two are the ones we never miss to participate in and we have great days during those fests.We get huge participation and i am from the main campus so from ll the other branches of SRM around Tamil Nadu students come we get to interact with huge number of people.Overall its a great journey campus life wise.
