Remarks

Best college for Biotechnology but later realised that it's not that great. Only IIT is better option to go with for Biotechnology career. Thia college is not bringing placement offers from core companies. Only IT and marketing companies are focused. It's better to choose IT and software instead of all these soecified courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's total waste. Facilities do politics and they sacrifice student's life for it. Only Students doing project under particular faculty will be getting marks. And there is so much partiality among students. Faculty just play PPT slides and read them and call this as teaching. I didn't pay 3 lakhs per annum just to learn from the PPT. If that's the case I would have just got a PPT from a senior student and never attend the classes. But this scenario is not with 2 or 3 teachers alone.

Placement Experience

It's so useless. Basically they want everyone who applied for placement to be placed. It's not necessary to which group or stream you belong to. Even certain companies where I applied never visited the campus. Core companies are not concentrated here. Only IT and useless online education companies visit which can easily approachable by social platforms like LinkedIn.

College Events

Campus life was amazing. SRM is meant for culturals but there too, we have to face politics and partiality. If a head of an organisation belonging to particular locality or community, they will be selecting only those who belong to their own locality and community. Talents mostly gets buried under this problems.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
