Remarks

This college is reputed among the private universities of India Many of my friends had been studying there and I had had a good review for the university so I decided to go for this. The sprawling, beautiful campus was another factor due to which I decided to pursue my course here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Academics is a bit outdated it seems. The faculties are a bit biased towards the local students, not all of them obviously. There are enough labs for practical exposure. However, the seniors can prove quite helpful in case we need any academic advise.

Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't have much idea, but major companies like Amazon, TCS, Microsoft come for placements every year. Moreover Indian startups such as Udaan come too. The university helps the students out immensely which is a good thing, there's a whole department alloted for placements training by the University which is a good thing.

College Events

There is this stunning Techno-Management Aaruush, organised my the students which is an amazing fest to attend to. There's all sorts of people and celebrities coming with their own innovations. There is another cultural fest too called Milan. Other than that there are more than 50 clubs which can keep any student busy if he has free time and that is a good thing.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
