COMEDK - I received a rank of around 15,000 in the All India ranking system. Although I had some other colleges like REVA, etc. That I was getting, the way the college advertised itself was compelling enough to opt for it. Also, it's location was an advantage. It was in a fairly good area.

The course was standard VTU. There was nothing important or interesting in the entire course apart form some elements of Web Design which I chose as my elective in my last and second last semester. I finally got into web design and made it my career but I must say, my course materials did not help me in the future, to build a good foundation for myself. I believe my ICSE and ISC curriculum in school was much better.

There was no internship offered to any students and it was not mandatory.I believe that is because of the student protest that took place during our term. They did not take it too well, though the protest was about improving the standards and facilities of the college.

There was no placement and in fact, there were FAKE placements carried out to show prospective students that they indeed carry out placements. If you are passing out of this college, you should know that you are on your own, like travelling in Gurgaon at night. No one will come to help you when you need it the most.

Yes, as I mentioned: you have to be a resident of Karnataka and give CET to get into the college (then your fees are around 40k per year - maybe less), or SC/ST or below the poverty line( or whatever they believe is poor enough).

I have had good interactions with them when I have had the opportunity to meet them. There is no such alumni network but you might sometimes find them lingering around the college area where you can try to chat with them.

They were frequent and they were hectic. In fact, we used to have two internal exams on a single day. We had requested that this should be made one exam a day, but the idea was turned down by the Principal, on the pretext that he cannot allow his students to be lazy.
