Remarks

I had taken pcb without math in high school. Other colleges wanted students to have opted for math in 12th for the biotech course. Srm was my only option since they accepted students who had not taken math in 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

They are good. Syllabus is very updated. No industrial exposure as of now. Faculties are good. Some are very good and some are very bad. Many of my faculties were very sweet and are very helpful. I can't name any faculty specifically.

Placement Experience

Srm is a top college mainly due to placements. Recently a student received a package of around 50 lacs per annum through placements. Majority of the students join SRM for its placement opportunities. Even the career development department, that takes care of the placements, is top notch.

College Events

They are very huge. So many students attend them. Many day scholars can't attend since most programs are in the evenings and they might have to go early in the evening. I dont attend every single event but I do take part in them.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
