Remarks

It's the best private institute in india also it provides best genetic engineering course. Also the main campus that is kattankulathur is the biggest campus among other campus of SRM. Also almost all the faculties of genetic engineering have experience and PHD degrees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum for the first year student should be changed because studying all subjects is hell boaring also we are not interested in subjects like civil engineering and mechanical engineering and fortunately or unfortunately our scores drops down.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

For our department it's very difficult to get on campus placement and for other departments like CSE and software it's very easy. Teachers in those departments are very lenient and same goes when it comes to grading.

Festivals celebration happens regularly. Also there is a national level tech fest in our university. Cultural fest also takes place in our college. Anyone can participate in those fest and organizing them as well as participating is fun

Wi-Fi - Needs speed improvment We are not allowed to take our own books inside library and that's the problem. We need notebooks and some of our own books inside library. We don't get enough equipments in lab. There is shortage of equipments.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

A review about KARE

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

I applied to many college and got selected too from their entrance exam but since i had no idea about counselling form and got wrong guidance from my professor that's why i was got selected in any of the college, i got good score in MHT CET, COMEDK, AIEEE, VIT and in all due to lack of proper guidance i got the seat but in that field which i don't want.
