Student's Review On Amity University, Noida

I was very interested in understanding and learning law but I wanted to have an accounting degree as well since i further wanted to pursue CA. I found B.com LLb in Amity only preferrable as compared to other options.

The course curriculum is quite good but we probably dont have the best faculty around. Some faculty members are exceptionally great whereas some just come for the sake of a job. About the course being updated, more steps are needed on that part. I remember a few teachers who were really good.Like Miss Preeti, Mr Nikhil Kashyap, Miss Raveena Sarao, Miss Lekha Rani, etc.

There is a placement cell in our college but most of us apply on our own for internships.

Unsure of the process of placements so far but i have heard that really good companies do come and they offer good packages. There is a placement cell in college through which we apply if we want to attend interviews.

It was quite fun. Lots of happening events like amity youth fest, etc. Many a times lots of celebrities show up for their movie's promotion. As the college is quite big Im unsure of how many event actually take place because ever branch has their own events sometimes.

I am on a full scholorship for the past 4 years. In the law branch as far as i know the initial scholorship is based on your 12th marks acoording to which they decide whether you get a 50 or 100% scholorship. For the other years you have to work hard and keep your CGPA above 9 or 8.5 if possible to maintain the scholorship.

Quite good and vast. We have all the basic amenities that a normal college student would want or perhaps even more than needed like biometrics and too much of a security system. Wifi is quite fast and we have good sports facilities as well. Library is vast and a nice place to go to for studying.

I stayed in the hostel for about 2 years. Very restrictive and too many rules especially for the girls. However it is a convenient place to stay if you look at it from the classes perspective because you tend to avoid the travelling hassle.
