Remarks

I chose this college because of the excellent curriculum they offer and the the fact that the exposure is great. The reputation of the college was good with many faculties having more than 2 degrees in hand and the patience they have is commendable. The campus is really big with many amenities and fresh air to breathe from. Everything serves the right forum for one to learn from.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite updated for my batch. The Hands on experience that we get is a little less though. They could work more on that aspect. The faculties are exceptional. They all have more than a minimum of two degrees. They're very patient at teaching and approachable at any given point of time. That's the best part.

Many companies come and recruit here. From start ups to big four companies. And, they take the best people. On an average, if it's a super dream company, each one recruits 15 to 20 people. Dream companies take about 120 to 150. And mass recruiters take people in thousands.

College Events

The college holds too many cultural events and keeps all the students on their toes almost all days of the week with something or the other going on. Each festival is celebrated with equal importance. The technical clubs conduct many competitive hackathons and a lot of people gain excessive exposure through this.

Campus Life

First of all, the campus is really huge and is situated in a place which is far away from the city which makes it more calm and peaceful to live. Secondly, the sports facilities are too many. Anyone pursuing a career in sports can take tot his university because they give quality attention to that aspect too. With the campus wifi runs 24×7. Size of library is too big and accommodative for many people.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is excellent. The hostel administrative staff are equally cordial which makes it more homely for one to live. The food is mediocre. We have other food stalls inside campus which gives us choice. Other facilities like a Xerox shop, salon, stationary and super market is also available.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
