Remarks

SRM has good research exposure in the field of biotechnology and only this department has the highest number of qualified teachers. I chose this college because of the extensive lab exposure and in touch with good colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is up to date with the upcoming advancements, and there is no exposure provided until now. faculties are pretty explanatory but some teachers read it straight out of the resource with no aim of making the students actually understand.

The fact that my college charges for fest from its own students makes many students not participate.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
