Remarks

There are many colleges to choose from but SRM being one of the best private universities and also provides great placements for students which can help them to boost their future with good earnings. The curriculum is also great to study with. Many practicals and internal tests which help students to decrease the burdon on the final exam and can perform without any heavy tension upon their mind.

The curriculum is great and provides a vast area for students to score. Academics is priority for students and the faculty helps the students to achieve their goals by solving any doubt what so ever.

They are very good. A lot of big companies come for hiring people from our college. The students are also very ambitious for their career and gets to choose the job they seem to be fit for thier requirements and interests from a wide variety of options in the Campus.

College Events

The campus life is good. Their are many events held in campus for different occasions. It also organise tech fest which is amongst the top in line in the country. The hostel provides a great place to study and socialize and the grounds are provided for students to play and enjoy their heart out.

Campus Life

Sports infrastructure, wifi facilitated hostels and college building, Library has a seperate building, the equipment in the labs are bad and not up to date hardly any of them work. The equipment tends to malfunction during experiment which leads to change of readings and hamper the calculations and in turn hampers the results.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel has 4 floors and the ground floor rooms equipped with AC. We are provided with cleaning facilities and it's mandatory to provide a attendance at the end of the day. We had to pay 1.9 lakhs for an AC room. My room is 3 sharing.

Hostel Fee: INR 190000 per year

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
