I wanted computer science and this College was offering me computer science. Adding to that, I have heard that the education system of South is more refined than any education system in our entire country.

I'm pursuing BTech Computer Science. I think that there are a lot of subjects which are not beneficial to us in any way in near future. For example - how is biology in College going to help me. I have had three amazing faculty so far(I'm in third year). Selvin Paul Peter (Software Engineering and Project Management), Balachandar Thulasiraman (Object Oriented Programing & Data Analysis And Algorithm) and U. M. Prakash (Programming for Problem Solving, Computer Architecture and Operating System) are one of the best teachers I have ever had.

They are better than other Colleges. Srm has a 100% placements. There are various companies which come and take students from srm. Srm is mostly renowned for its placement as it says to have a 100 percent placement percentage.

We have a technical as well as management fest. Im a part of milan which is our management fest. We generally expect a footfall of around 80k people. We have a dj night, music night, comedy night and inaugration ceremony. Our College tends to invite all the important people or celebrities for the 4 days of MILAN. So to sum up, milan is way better than aarush which is our technical fest.

I have a defence personnel scholarship. There is a short procedure where you have to fill out a form with your results attached to that form and finally submit that form. That form has to be submitted in admission office.

It is a huge campus and has a lot of facilities. Facilities includes a gym, food court, indoor synthetic badminton court, synthetic tennis and basketball court, running track and beautiful garden. Wi-Fi is not too good but it works fine. We have a huge library but we don't have required amount of books.

Hostel rooms are amazing, food is fine for vegetarians but it is a nightmare for non vegetarians. Availing a hostel room is very difficult. You might wanna share your room with your friends but because of mismanagement you are either not able to take up the same room as your friend or end up in some other hostel.
