Remarks

I chose this college because it has a great campus, infrastructures and mainly placements records. One of the main reason was that SRM is one of the best private college for computer science engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to me the course syllabus is quite updated but we don't get enough industrial exposure. Not all faculties deserve to be in that college because some of them just don't know how to teach their own subject but done faculties are really good.

Placement Experience

I don't know all about placement process but I do know that our college placements are very good. Mainly the computer science students get placed easily. Many companies visit our campus that include dream companies like Google, Microsoft, etc and also many mass recruiters like Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc.

College Events

The campus life is pretty good. We have a two fest throughout the year one is technical and other is cultural. Cultural fest has more participation then technical fest but both fests are amazing. Also the technical fest is run by the students so it gives a lot of opportunities to the student to built their leadership qualities and their personalities.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
