Remarks

When I was applying different for colleges I had 2 target colleges (SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology). I got CSE in SRM during the counseling session and so I opted for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum and the are vast and have a good mix of theory and practicals. They facilities available are great and quite up to date. The faculties are strict when needed but are good and friendly as well. There a several opportunities available in terms of industrial exposure as long as you look for it. There are many active clubs that help you learn and grow as a person.

Internships Opportunities

I have gone for 2 internships so far, one is at Unschool in the marketing department and the other is at Inmovidu for IOT, Robootics and Embedded Systems

We get many different companies on campus for our placement sessions. It includes companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and many more top companies. A great number of students get selected for these placements due to their high performance, knowledge and professionalism.

The campus is huge and the campus life is amazing. Students from all over the country and the world have come to study here. There are many clubs that promote and help students improve in their technical and non-technical skills. We also have 2 fests (AARUUSH and Milan), which have many committees and domains that expertise in various different fields.

SRM IST has all the infrastructure that is expected of a top college like a large library, high speed internet, labs with all the necessary equipment, sports facilities like basketball courts, volleyball courts, running track and so much more.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
