SRM University is one of the top ranking universities in India, offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering. It has a great campus life and offers a lot of freedom.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus has been going for a long time but some of the subjects are very essential for your growth as a person. Overall the curriculum is not bad. There are all kinds of teachers. You'll like some, you'll hate some.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

From what I've heard from my seniors, it's pretty good. Many different companies come from all over. Even good companies such as google amd amazon also come. Mass recruiters also come to the college. So even if you're a bit good, you'll get a job.

College Events

The campus life is one of the best parts of srm. There are tonnes of things to do in and around campus. Great places to eat. Sports grounds are great. Many people from different walks of life. Overall an amazing experience.

The buildings are old however they provide good stability. They could be better but honestly who cares. The computers are good in quality and even the labs are good. There are air conditioners in some buildings.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are average. However, living in a hostel is a great experience. Even though you will end up complaining about this and that when it comes to the hostel but it is a must for a person to have lived in a college hostel atleast once.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
