Remarks

Low jee mains rank. comes under the top 5 private colleges in India. Got cse which is good in this college on the basis of my rank. Girls' hostel facilities are nice. Wanted cse and was getting electrical in vit and chemical in Manipal so therefore selected this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

All you need is bookish language and the notes provided by the faculty to learn by heart which is of no use and doesn't help u grow so this system should be changed I guess. Better and understanding faculties required. Good academic sessions required.

Placement Experience

All sorts of companies visit but dream companies visiting are a lot less in number than mass recruiters. The opportunities given are not enough. Alumni networking is good. Job opportunities depend on your talents and GPA.

College Events

Tech fests provide great opportunities and exposure. Cultural are fine neither that great nor that bad Culturals are University funded so they are huge and has a lot of food options. Tech fests are student-run they are a little less appreciated by the college students than the culture which I feel should be looked into.

Campus Life

Equipment is all fine coz they take breakage fees from all students. Sports and all are fine. Clubs and other activities (extracurricular activities) provide great opportunities. The library is average.

Hostel Facilities

Girls' hostel facilities are great. The mess is nice and clean, the ac in AC rooms work fine, but the gym is not updated. A late-night food facility is not available. The in time and the strictness does not let you live in peace.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
