Remarks

I wasn't able to crack JEE. So, i came to know this is in the top colleges of india beating many government colleges. I want to take Computer Science but all the seats were filled up and I ended up taking this field.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good and light. Faculties of all courses are also good. Some are PHD graduates. yes it provides a good industrial exposure. Syllabus is well organised and structured. Mine programming faculty was not so good.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

College Events

two fests are organised throughout a year A technical fest "AARUUSH" A cultural fest " MILAN" And some various programmes to encouage participation of students and to enjoy and explore and showcase their talents.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is very well maintained and cleaned. Facilities like sports, transport, parking, equipments in lab all are very nicely maintained. the size of library is huge and had very well collection of resources books. WiFi connectivity is also very much good.

Hostel Facilities

hostel is quite very much good. two options ac/ non ac. Cleanliness is done on daily basis. wifi enabled hostel. well furnished rooms.warden are there to ensure the in timings and rules to be followed.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
