Remarks

I choen this college as the course has a good scope in the future and we can go for a variety of jobs.Fests are huge here. We can enjoy a lot.It has so much good exposure to co curricular activities. Like aarush and milan are top events held in SRM.

Some Teachers were really good. Some are new. Some are quite lazy as well. Depending on your luck and willingness to grow will decide how far and good grades you can score. Indeed the course curriculum is relevant. Course makes the students industry ready.

Average package - 3.6lakh per annum Top recruiting companies like microsoft, google. Almost 70 to 80 percent students got placed the highest package - 42lakhs per annum Companies like tcs, Infosys and cognigent are top recruiting companies in SRM Chennai.

College Events

The classroom is good and also have a good Wi-Fi connection, a library with plenty of books. In the hostel, food is okay. But hostel Life is really good at srm, fests are really good. Labs are huge and with every equipment and coursers like ECE, CSE, it and mech are good.

Campus Life

Infrastructure wise it is a great institution. Library is pretty big and resourceful. Quality of canteen and mess is also upto the mark. In terms medical facilities SRM has its own hospital. In sports also it has quite a good reputation. SRM posses its own Hotel as well where family can stay.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
