Anonymous's Review On BJB Autonomous College - [BJB], Bhubaneswar

I chose this college because it always maintains its peak position when it comes to imparting education among various government colleges of Odisha. It also has produced distinguished alumni's starting from Ministers to IAS and IPS officers, from doctors to scientists.

The course was updated for the new session during 2019. Until then,the 2017 syllabus was followed. The industrial exposure is provided to the students in the 3rd year. They are taken to various industries to work on their projects.The faculties for biotechnology teach us effectively but there is still a need for more faculties.

The placement and job opportunities for Biotechnology students needs to be improved a lot. There is no such placement facilities in the College itself but students are notified about placement opportunities outside the college.

The college holds various cultural events of which annual function is most important. Various academic awards are given to students for securing the highest marks in the term-end semester exams of first and second year.The college has various student unions and societies who conduct all kind of events in the college.

The college has 3 hostels given below: 1. General Hostel (For General Category and OBC students) Seats Available: 104 2. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hostel (For ST & SC Students) Seats Available: 150 3. New Ladies Hostel (For SC,SC and OBC students) Seats Available: 300 out of which 200 seats for Autonomous College 4. Ladies Hostel ( For General Category Students) Seats Available: 40
