Student's Review On Nirma University, Ahmedabad

Nirma University is one of the best institutions in Gujarat. Talking about studies, the seriousness here, helping seniors and faculty members it's all available. It is the best college for students who are career and study oriented. They also have amazing placements and great variety of courses to choose from. The college offers minor courses like no other and can be pursued in interdisciplinary fields like entrepreneurship, design etc.

Talking about update on course syllabus the college initiates on new learning regularly. They have been updating the syllabus for our batch and will do it for batches further. According to the details provided by placement people they make the syllabus in such a way that we are industry ready.Talking about the facilities all of them are really good and helpful. Some of them might be inexperienced or not understandable to be honest but you can always approach other faculties of the subject for doubts. Overall it's not much of a issue.

There are a lot of companies that visit the campus every year. Intel, Siemens, cypress many more for EC engineers. You can also get into placements for CS companies if you wish but you need to develop skills on that front accordingly.

Nirma organises NU tech which is the largest tech fest of gujarat. It involves participation from a huge number of colleges and filled with the best events. All the departments also organise a tech fest of their own inviting renowed personalities to grace the occasion. Talking about cultural events, RCNI is a cultural club organising the biggest cultural event, horizon which holds concerts, food fests, gaming and all the entertainment the perfect way.

Nirma provides scholarship based on merit for top 20 to 25 students. There are some other agencies who also provide scholarship based kn family income. Family income based like around 5lacs or so They also ask for electricity Bill's and other documents.

Talking about the infrastructure it's a great huge campus. From sports ground, enormous huge library with 1000s of books and research papers, wifi facility provided and labs are updated with all equipment required for experimental knowledge.

Nirma doesnt have any hostels for undergrad students unless you are from GULF country. There are a number of nearby PGs which provide all the facility required. The average rent for one year ranges from 80K to 1.15 lacs depending on the facility. If you are a localite, Nirma provides transportation.
