Remarks

Overall it is a good college to do engineering in Rajkot in Gujarat.

Entrance Preview

My merit no in Gujarat was around 7500 as per admission procedure at the time of admission during those years there was not any entrance exams. Only PCMB total marls were considered in general merit list based on which u can chose your options.

Course Curriculum Overview

Experienced full time faculty. Course during those years was affiliated to saurashtra university - Rajkot. Now it is affiliated with GTU I.e. Gujarat technical university - gandhinagar.

Internships Opportunities

No internship applicable for mechanical Engg in those days.

Placement Experience

Some national and local companies were there when I passed out. I did not opted for placement as I wanted to study further. As I heard from some junior students, later on more companies coming for placement.

College Events

Welcome party, farewell party and sports festival. Sports festival used to be for almost one month during Jan. Robo competitions.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any loan. But most government banks will offer loan as it is government approved and registered institute.

Campus Life

Campus life was good. Nice campus with good architecture. No ragging. Good auditorium.

Hostel Facilities

No hostel. Fees comparable with similar engg colleges in Gujarat. U can get private hostel in city around 8 km away from college, as college is on highway. In those days we got pg / private hostels around rs. 2000. College has its own canteen.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Its good. After 10 years of my pass out college organised a grand allumini meet. Lot of pass out students attended some with spouse and kids also.

Worth it for academics

Placement Experience:

most of Students got placemets from college. Students become eligible fro campus placement in &th semester. Many companies visit college and hire students. Highest package is 8 LPA and average is 4 LPA.

No in my college placement is very good. All my seniors are placed in different companies and with healthy selery and good internship and minimum placement is 5.00 lakh per annum and maximum is 16-18 lakh

Not an average college

I got addmission in this college through ACPC which is a process in gujarat. Ofcourse I applied for other colleges but I didn't got addmission in them because my percentile rank was not good enough.
