Remarks

Firstly it's near from my home. Along with infrastructure of college, education is also good. We can enjoy and feel the nature as college is situated on hilly area. Along with studies new curricular activities are too done over here.

I have an interest in mechanical engineering, innovating something new. Almost all the Faculties have done M. Tech or M.E. Sometimes some subjects are tough but overall we are able to clear it.

Job placement is also available over here. Companies such as TCS, Enjay, JSW etc hire the students for a job.

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees are the same as when I have joined the college. There are different scholarship option for those who have a caste certificate.

Campus Life

Every year techfest is organized by our college named Ektara. Along with that sports, days farewell, freshers etc all events are celebrated. All kind of study material is available in the library from bachelors to masters.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Placement is there and around 92-95% students get placed every year which is quite good in current economy. Highest package offered was 12LPA which is decent for aa college openend less than a decade ago. Average package is around 6LPA to 7LPA. There is no restrictions in semester in which a student can apply for placement but usually 3rd and 4th year students are the one applying. My plan after degree is higher studies in colleges like Monash etc

At PDEU, CSE isn't that decorated stream as its more of an engineering college related to energy and therefore companies like Reliance, Adani Green, GSFC and others have made tie-ups with it. However, many IT companies too now have associated with our placements cell and average for our stream is currently around 7 LPA.

L&T - 3 offers TORRENT POWER - 2 offers ADANI GROUP - 1 offer ABB - interviewed,no confirmed selection that year TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES - 20+ offers(open to all branches) L&T offered highest packege for graduate engineer trainee which was 5.5 LPA. TORRENT POWER offered average package of 4.0 LPA for core role For electrical engineering placement varies year by year based on the market in my batch core sector placement was 30-35% and overal placement includint IT or counsultng was 70-75% and remaining opted higher studies,GATE preparation,or government exams. i am interested in renewable energy research and might explore opportunities abroad for higher studies.

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.
