Remarks
Crescent University has been very well acclaimed for several years now. Among the college options, I'd considered once my 12th exam results were published Crescent University stood out. I'd picked out the options based on the criteria of infrastructure and maximum exposure. For a field such as architecture, I've heard from several seniors to look for major events and exposure to various platforms. I'd consulted the opinion of several contacts before I made the final call on my bachelor education. Among the options for Bachelors in Architecture, I had prioritised Crescent University for its great reviews. I was highly interested in what they could offer based on their Instagram posts and Website images.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was what I'd expected when opted for architecture. I was in fact exposed to the Design syllabus as well since the college included the B.Des course. The Faculty: Student ratio usually was around 1: 10 for the major studio subjects and we were encouraged to always avail the help of any faculty. The Teaching was really a cut above the commercial standards and was the reason why we are currently able to handle the field after graduation.
Placement Experience
Architecture field doesn't depend on on-campus placement usually but we did have an internship semester which was a forerunner. Since several great architects were invited to be a part of the panel for our intermediate reviews and viva voce examination we were able to gain contacts. Those experience helped us during the process of seeking employment after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure was comparable to several other colleges for the facilities they were offering.
Campus Life
We had cultural events happening every semester where we could explore several skills. The University library was a great resource and managed to keep me occupied always and that's something I dearly miss. Extra-Curricular activities are a huge bonus in crescent University. The diversity of events are great and I was personally interested in football. The University arranged for training and matches periodically which I enjoyed and didn't let me forego it after school. The classroom was one of the most important reasons for me to pick this college. The rooms were so well lit and had high-end furniture for each of my peer unlike any other university.
Interview Experience
There was an interview scheduled as part of the admissions process. The Interview focused on our creative ability, Language comprehension and necessary skills for under graduation. Focussed aptitude tests were helpful for the interview.
