Remarks

Excellent teaching and learning ambiance Admission process and exams - I gave nata exam and scored 107 marks. I opted for this college because it had good reviews and also have read an article about the campus design in archdaily. And also because it had a safe, clean, and in-campus hostel for girls, which was also a priority. The campus life is fabulous, as the facilities provided by the college like well-lit spacious studios, seperate lecture halls for every section with an in-built projector for a presentation, smart classrooms, computer labs for ug and pg, material museum, multi-purpose hall, spill-out zones/spaces for extra-curricular activities and hands-on workshop, course curriculum - is perfect, where we need to satisfy minimum 75% attendance. The classes are conducted in a very systematic, and as per schedule.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, with reputed firms and architects, and they give us the opportunity to continue with them after the course completion. The college has got tie-up with international firms too.we also have seminars given by renowned architects, as part of our curriculum.

Placement Experience

The college provides internship opportunities for students in the fourth year, and the particular company might absorb the students after their course completion, based on individual performance.

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

Architecture amidst serene greenery

Course Curriculum Overview:

The duration of the course is 5 years with 10 semesters in total. I think this is good period of time to learn architecture. Each semester has five theory subjects and one design subject. The design subject deals with designing buildings with given brief without any plagiagrism. The other five theory subjects are quite easy other than the subjects that involves maths, which requires practice and learning. all the nine semesters are quite conceptualized, whereas the internship semester gives an idea on how the real world of architecture industry works. Though the syllabus is old all over india, it might be for betterent if the practical learning is involved in all semesters.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.

I have enrolled my cousin at the university, she is thoroughly enjoying the course and the infrastructure of the college. The faculties are helpful and are available for helping students anytime. The Faculties here are more approachable and always available to clear the questions and doubts the students will have ever.
