Remarks
The main reason for choosing this college is it is a government college, the Infrastructure is excellent and you will find a peaceful environment near to my place. I have an interest in Civil and environmental engineering, the only university which has this course but now it is changed to Civil Engineering. It is a ragging-free campus. Admission dates are declared by govt only. The main disadvantage, college is far away from the city so you don't have a chance to take any other courses during your college days. so I don't suggest my college to upcoming Juniors.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Civil and Environmental Engineering because I have interested in that and I thought environmental has a good scope in future. Coming to faculty even though it is a government college most of the faculty are private except the Principal, VP and HOD and their qualifications are M. Tech and PhD. I think compare to other branches CSE and ECE have good faculty. The quality of teaching and lab facilities is improving every year. Coming to exams and result in it depends on the individual interest in studies and JNTU correction. Mostly all the students do one-day batting before exams maybe that's the reason everyone feels difficult.
Placement Experience
Placements are available for CSE and ECE only there are no placements for CE and ME, which might be improved in next year. Selected students have the chance to get placed at the main campus of JNTU Hyderabad. Most of the students planned to go for higher studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee depends on your TS Eamcet rank, for me there is no Tuition fee but the library fee is 5000/- per year. The hostel fee is nearly 24000/- per year it depends on no.of days you are present in the hostel. Everyone has to pay 10k in advance for a hostel which is refundable. Scholarship provided by the Telangana government.
Campus Life
The college infrastructure is excellent and you will find a peaceful environment. The College library has a good collection of books not only subject books but also motivational, magazines, journals and competitive exam books. The college has a gym and sports (indoor and outdoor) facilities, in fact, sports have more important. Fest, farewell, freshers and other (Women's day, Teachers day, Christmas etc) conducted every year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are really best for both boys and girls although food is average. There is the only canteen in the campus for other personal and stationary things you need to go to Sultanpur or sanga reddy. Medical facility and Ambulance is available 24*7 with staff. Each room shared by two members it provided with cots only. Girls should be in the hostel before 6:00 pm.
